This is a new baseline expense type which enables users to efficiently track both revenue and expenses, ensuring better financial management and oversight
1. Click "Options"
Navigate to "Options"
2. Click "Expenses Options"
Navigate to "Expenses Options"
3. Enable Revenue
This option is exclusively available to Admin-Users. Enabling it grants customers access to the new Revenue category
4. Left pane - Equipment P&L
If Revenue is enabled, the left pane label "Expense Report" will be updated to "Equipment P&L."
5. Configure Revenue Category
To view "Revenue" expense type in the Expense type combo box, click on "Add baseline Expense Types"
6. Confirmation prompt
When clicked on the "Add Baseline Expense Types", you will get the confirmation Prompt to add it.
7. Exisiting baseline expense type prompts
After clicking ok on the confirmation prompt, you will get the other existing baseline expense like Labour expense, continue clicking ok. At last you will be able to add the Revenue expense type.
8. Revenue Category
As a result, you will be able to view the "Revenue" Category in the Configure Expense Type combo box

Able to view Revenue type while editing and creating new expense
11. Revenue in Equipment P & L screen
Able to view Revenue type in Equipment P& L screen.
12. Total Calculation without Revenue Amount entered
If the Revenue Amount is not entered. The Total will be displayed as sum of all expenses per equipment
13. Total Calculation with Revenue Amount entered
If the Revenue expense is greater than 0, the total is calculated as Revenue minus the sum of all expenses.
14. Disable Revenue
If Revenue is added and later disabled, The Recurring template created under the Revenue category will stop processing. Any expense data entered under the Revenue category will be hidden. The left pane will revert to displaying "Expense Report" instead of "Equipment P&L. The Total calculation will return to its original format, showing the sum of all expenses
