Introducing Recurring Expenses - allowing you to setup and manage Recurring Expenses - allowing further insights to Expenses across your fleet.
1. Click "Options"
Navigate to "Options"
2. Click "Expenses Options"
Navigate to "Expenses Options"
3. Add new template
Click on the Add button to create new Recurring Expense.
4. Recurring Expense Template
Please fill out all the fields. And kindly note the grey text below.
5. Frequency/Interval
Based on the Frequency configured - the system will generate a Expense based on the Equipment or Categories configured during the Start & End period defined. This will only create Expenses while the Start & End is currently active and won't create records into the future.
6. Configured to Equipment or Categories
Recurring Expenses can be configured against either Categories or specific Equipment. Do note that of Categories are selected - you can select the main Categories and any child categories linked to them will be used - removing the need to select multiple levels of Categories.

If we remove the selected Category, then Equipment field will again be visible and vice versa
10. Recurring Expense Template
According to the example shown on the screen - an expense will be generated for each Equipment in the selected Category or child categories. Based on the Start Date - an expense will be created for March for all Equipment per month until we reach todays date or the End Date. If the End Date is not reached - the system will generate new expenses every month until we reach the end date. When complete - click the tick in the toolbar to continue.
11. Table View
Now with the new Recurring Expense created - we can see it alongside any others under the Expense Options view.
By utilising the new Recurring Expense feature in the KIM Gear App - users will be able to benefit from more insights to the running costs of their fleet with having more expense capture readily available in the system - without the need for alot of manual entry in the system. Thanks for Watching.
