This guide covers how to restrict Event visibility in Trackview and where Event information can be viewed from.
Options > Events & Notifications
Within Trackview - under options - we have the Events & Notifications tab. If we click into this - we can enable or disable the Events within Trackview.
Options > User Rights
If Events are enabled in the system - then a new section will be made available under User Rights. From here - we can control what roles have the ability to see Event information within Trackview.
Events visible if Role is configured
When Events are enabled and desired role access is granted - Events will be available from the Left Menu. Click on Trips to continue.
Events column visible if Role setup
In the Trips view - the Events column will be visible only if the Role of the user is in the current configured roles or if the user is an admin user.
Trip Event Summary
Further to this - when we click on a Trip - the Trip Event Summary will also be restricted based in the same way similar to the Events column mentioned previously. Select Show Trip to continue.
Events visible based on User Rights
When viewing the Trip - the Events will only be visible in the Map based on the User Rights previously configured. Click on the Event dot to continue.
Click "Options"
Now since we can see the Event in the Trip - this allows us to then see the Event video in the popup shown.
