This guide will walk you through the process of using Quotes on Mobile in Kynection.
1. Select "Quotes"
Firstly select Quotes from the Main Menu on Mobile.
2. Here you can see all the Quotes Statuses and the count for each
This Page will show all the quotes and how many of each status are in the system.
3. Select "All"
If you wish to just see all the Quotes regardless of their status you can select "All" from the menu.
4. Select the + Button
To Create a new Quote, select the + button from the menu.
5. Quote Details
Once you create a new Quote, you will be taken to the main view, Here you can see the Total Price, its status and any additional information, such as Customer, Project, Date, etc.
6. Available Tabs
At the top of the screen in the toolbar you will see any active Tabs,on a new Quote, these will be the Quote Information Tab, and the Items List
7. Select the Edit Pencil
To Edit any Information about the Quote, you can click the pencil button at the top of the screen.
8. Quote Details
From this screen you can enter any details for the Quote that are required, including any custom fields.
9. Available Tabs
Again you will see different Tabs on at the Top of the screen showing you the different edit screens available.
10. Select the tick Button
To finish editing and return to the main quote view, select the Tick button at the top of the screen
11. Select the + Button
To add Items to the Quote first we will need to create a Section. Sections contain the Items and we can add multiple Sections to a quote and even add Sub-Sections as well.
12. Select "Section"
Here you can select things to add to the Quote, such as notes, and a new Section. For now select a new Section.
13. Enter the Name and Description
Here you can enter the name for the section you are adding and a description if needed.
14. Select "Add Section"
Once you are happy select the Add Section button
15. Select the Section.
You will see in the Items List the new section we have just created, you can continue to add as many sections as needed this way. When you want to add items, we first will need to select the section.
16. Section Details
When viewing the Section you will see the total Price for the section, the name and the description.
17. Add Items
To add items to the section, select the + button.
18. select what you want to add
A popup menu will appear that will let you choose any applicable items to add to the section. From here you will usually pick, stock or non-stock items to add from the catalogue.
19. Select Category
Once you select a type of item to add, you will be shown the Categories selection. If you want to search for a particular item, without knowing its category, select the "All Items" List, this will let you search the entire catalogue for that item. Otherwise select the category you want to search.
20. Select "Return" to go back to the quote.
When viewing a Category of Items you might see the following sections. Firstly the Return button, this will take you out of the product selection, and back to the Quote.
21. Select a subcategory
The next section you might see will be any subcategories attached to the category you are searching, selecting one of these will take you to that subcategory.
22. Select an Item
Finally the last section you might see is the items that are inside the category you are currently viewing. To add an Item just tap on it.
23. Enter the Quantity, and whether it is inventory
Once you select an Item you will choose the quantity of the item you want to add, and if it is enabled, whether or not to use inventory. Inventory will default to on if it is enabled and you are selecting a stock item.
24. Select "Done" or "Add More"
Once your quantity is entered, you can select "Add More" to return to the category you were just in and keep adding more items. Or you can select "Done" to return to the Quote.
25. View added Items
After you have added your items to the Quote, you will see them listed out under their section.
26. Select an Item
To edit an added Item, simply select it from the Items list.
27. Edit Product Details
From here you can edit the details for the item, such as the name, description, Quantity, etc
28. Costs
Within the edit screen you will see some pricing sections. This will show you the total for the Items and any subitems included, for both Cost and Price.
29. View Subitems
When working with certain item types you will be able to add subitems to them, or if you are adding a package from the catalogue there may already be subitems included. To view these items select the subitems tab.
30. Subitem Information
Here you will see a list of subitems with some relevant information listed below, such as their subtype, whether they are billable items, their quantity and their pricing information. selecting one of these items will bring up some options
31. edit the subitem
You will see the ability to either mark the items as billable or unbillable. You can also directly edit the subitem, the same way you would edit a regular item, or you can remove the subitem.
32. Add new Items
From here you can add new subitems by clicking the + button
33. Add more subitems
On a package you will be able to add stock, non-stock and any configured optional items. on regular items you will only be able to add labour
34. Press Submit
Once you have finished adding and editing the items you want on the Quote, you can return to the main view and submit it.
35. Further worfklow buttons
Once submitted you can continue the workflow for the Quotes, any new workflow buttons will show up in the same spot on the View Quote page.
