This guide will walk you through the steps of closing out a Repair item in Equipment M&S that is currently in Monitoring status.
1. Click "Repairs"
Navigate to the Repairs section.
2. Click "Status"
Locate and select the Status option.
3. Click "Monitoring"
Select Monitoring from the List.
4. Select Repair to Continue
The list will now be filtered to show only Repairs where the status is of type Monitoring. Select one of the Repair items to continue.
5. New Buttons available
We can see that with this Repair item that is currently in the Monitoring status - there are two new buttons available - "Restart Repair" and "Not Required". Both of these buttons will progress the workflow of the Repair which we will review both.
6. Click "Not Required"
In this example - lets click on "Not Required".
7. Item set to Not Required
We can see that the Repair item has been set to Not Required and effectively has reached the end of the workflow - as a Item is effectively closed out when it reaches Completed or Not Required.
8. Click Back
Continue by clicking on the back button.
9. Select Repair
Click on another Repair item in Monitoring status.
10. Click "Restart Repair"
Now lets click on the "Restart Repair" button.
11. Repair Item now In Progress
Now the Repair Item is In Progress - allowing the user to input the required information - add in Parts, any additional fields or a Form etc and closeout the Repair as required.
