Enhance your proficiency in capturing hour decimal readings in Equipment M&S with this comprehensive guide.
1. Equipment that has Hour capture configured
We are currently reviewing a piece of Equipment that has Hour capture configured.
2. Click Prestart
Select the Prestart button to continue.
3. Click here
The Hour capture during the Prestarts workflow now allows for decimal capture. Enter the hours to proceed.
4. Click Start
After the Hours capture has been entered - in this case including a decimal value - click on Start to continue raising the Prestart. For this - we will be skipping the Prestart and returning back to the same Equipment.
5. Hour with Decimal Precision
Now back on the equipment - we can see that the captured hours entered previously reflect on the Equipment View.
6. Click on Hour Reading
The first way we entered an Hour reading was from starting the Prestart - now another way we can achieve this is by clicking on the Hour reading value on the Equipment. Click on the reading to continue.
7. Enter Reading
Enter the required Hour reading.
8. Click Done
With the Hours entered - click on done.
9. Updated Hour Reading
We can see that after clicking on Done - the hours previously entered reflect against the Equipment.
10. Click Plus
Now there is a 3rd way we can add in a Hour reading - click on the plus in the toolbar to continue.
11. Click "Enter Hours"
Select Enter Hours.
12. Enter Hours
In the popup - enter the hour reading as required.
13. Click "Save"
Click Save to continue.
14. Updated Hour Reading
Again - we can see that the Hour reading on the Equipment has been updated.
15. Click "Utilization"
Access the utilization section.
16. Hour readings showing decimal values
We can see that the historical entries keep their decimal values entered.
17. Click "Upcoming/Overdue Service"
Access the upcoming/overdue service section.
18. Hour reading showing decimal values
We can see that the Upcoming / Overdue Services view is showing decimal values for the Hour reading on the Current and Hour to Service values.
