Enhance your information output for Jobs in Assets M&S. This guide will provide an overview of the shared table layout feature of jobbing information between Assets M&S and KIM Jobs within the Kynection application.
1. Click on Equipment that has a Job Allocated
From the Equipment List - click on a piece of Equipment that has Jobs currently allocated or completed against it.
2. Click "Jobs"
Access the Jobs section against the desired piece of Equipment.
3. Jobs view Upated to use KIM Jobs custom columns
We can see that the Equipment Job view has been updated so that it displays the same column layout as per what is configurable in KIM Jobs with its custom columns.
4. Select Job
From the list of Jobs - Click on a Job to proceed into the KIM Jobs module.
5. Click Open
Now that we are in the KIM Jobs module - click on Open.
6. Assets M&S Jobs view is the same as per above
Now from the Open Jobs view - we can see that the columns being displayed here are the same as what was being displayed in the Jobs section for a piece of Equipment in Assets M&S. This allows the same meaningful information to be presented in both modules - reducing the need to click through to the job to get more information that is already been displayed as a part of the table layout in KIM Jobs.
