1. Click "Finance"
Firstly we will go to the Finance Section of our selected Project.

2. Select the plus icon
To Raise a Progress Claim, Click on the plus sign in the toolbar.

3. Select the invoice button
Then Click on the Invoice Button.

4. Click "20%"
This will take you to the Progress Claim Dashboard. Within this dashboard there are several sections.

5. "Quoted Works"
Our First section is Quoted Works. Any existing Quotes, their Sections/Sub Sections, and their line Items will be listed here.

6. See the first quote connected to the project
This is the first quote connected to this Project.

7. Here is the second quote
Here is a second Quote, also connected to this project.

8. "Un-Quoted Works"
We then have the "Un-Quoted Works" Section. This Section will include any Project Items, added via forms, or purchase orders, or any other workflow. Items in this section will be listed by their Project Milestones and Tasks

9. Here is the Retention Bank
And Finally if a Retention has been added to the Project, then the Retention Section will be shown at the bottom. This represents the total amount of retention banked against the project so far, so it will begin at $0.

10. Select a Claim Number
Now we need to select a claim Number These will being with an Upfront Claim or Claim #1. As we make our claims more options will appear here, and some of them will show as claimed.

11. Select our Claim Percentage
Now that we have selected our claim number, we want to input the percentages we wish to claim, we will start by entering 20% against the 1st Quote on the Project. We will be doing the entire quote at once, but you can enter this value on a per section or even per line basis. You can also claim a particular quantity, or a particular dollar value instead.

12. Select our claim percentage on our 2nd Quote
We will now enter 10% onto the second Quote to claim.

13. Retention Amounts
Here you can see the expected Retention amount per line as we are going through and building the claim. And you can see on our second quote that this remains blank. This is because our 2nd quote is flagged as a variation and does not contribute to the retention bank.

14. Enter our claim percentage
Finally we want to claim some of our unquoted works. So we will enter a final 10% against the project milestone to claim 10% of each item against it.

15. Click "Create Claim"
Once you are happy with the claim, you can create the Invoice by clicking on the Create Claim Button at the top.

16. Click "Quote"
Here you can see the new Invoice created from the claim.

17. The Quotes connected to the Invoice
And here you can see our two Quotes are also linked to the new Invoice.

18. Claim #1 is Claimed already
Now, when we go to raise another Claim. We will see that our Claim #1 is now flagged as having been claimed, and if we select it, we will see that we cannot reclaim the lines from the Quote. It also shows next to the Quote name, the Last Claim Number and whether the Currently Selected Claim has already been claimed.

19. Select"Claim #2"
So we will Select Claim #2 to proceed.

20. Select our claim Percentage
On our 2nd Claim we are just going to claim the 1st quote for an additional 20%

21. Click "Create Claim"
As we are only Claiming 1 Quote for now we can go ahead and create our 2nd claim

22. Linked Quote
You can see that this new invoice is only linked to the 1st quote.

23. Click "Claim #3"
Finally we want to claim some of our retention bank. So return to our Progress Claim Dashboard and create another claim. We are going to choose our 3rd Claim

24. Enter the dollar value we want to claim
And then in our Retention Bank, we will input the dollar amount we wish to claim. We will claim all that has been banked so far so we will enter $515.15

25. Click "Create Claim"
Finally create our 3rd claim.

Here you can see our retention claim. This is where we invoice for the amounts we subtracted from each of the previous claims

27. Our Invoiced Amounts, and Retentions Claimed
Finally, if we return to our Projects Finance Dashboard we can see our total invoiced So far has updated, as well as our Retention totals.
