This guide offers an introduction to the new Utilisation Report in Kynection. It covers accessing the report and configuring it to display the duration of unavailability due to servicing, faults, defects, and other factors. Follow the clear and engaging instructions to efficiently explore this new feature.
1. Click "Equipment Module" then the "Utilisation Report"
From the main dashboard, go to the equipment module and choose the new Utilisation Report.
2. Click here
The initial chart displays the usage report of the equipment categorised by its category for the selected filter range. Each month that the report covers will be stacked on the category column. Additionally, each utilisation type used will be shown. For equipment categories with both Hours and Kilometers configured, two items will be displayed per month.
3. Click here
By default, the second chart presents a count of repairs by type for the category each month within the specified period. However, this chart can be customized to exhibit, instead of a count, the total duration of time in hours consumed by different repair types. This configuration reveals the amount of time the equipment, categorized by type, has been unavailable for use.
4. Configure the duration field so that the chart outputs the total duration of time instead of counting instances of repairs.
Navigate to Options, then select Report. In this section, you'll find a new area designated for Repair Options. Here, you can configure the Repair Custom Field that will store the total duration of time for each repair. This setup will prompt the Utilisation Report to generate a slightly modified output in the second chart, as discussed earlier.
5. Duration by repair type per month
Once the Duration field is set and we have supporting data in the system - the report type chart now shows the total duration by repair type by month grouped by the equipment category.
6. Utilise Column
This section displays the usage report for all equipment during the reporting period. You can use the "Utilized" column to filter equipment based on their usage status for the month, whether by kilometers or hours. Additionally, it offers monthly details such as start, end, and total usage for each utilization type.
7. Filter
In the toolbar, there's a filter section featuring baseline fields, along with a date range option to filter the report based on various conditions.
8. Excel Export
The Export button facilitates downloading the utilization report summary in Excel format, enabling further customization and calculations.
