Explore how to configure Service Sheets for specific services in Kynection. By customizing fields to show only for relevant services, streamline your workflow effectively. Follow these precise instructions to optimize your Service Forms and enhance your employee training process.
1. Click "Options"
From the home dashboard, go to the equipment module and select the options tab.
2. Click "Prestart and Service Form Configuration"
The Prestart Configuration button has been revised and is now labeled as "Prestart and Service Form Configuration." To proceed, navigate to the Prestart and Service Form Configuration section.
3. Click here
The Form Configuration screen remains largely unchanged, but now includes a new dropdown menu where you can select the Form Group for our Service Forms.
4. Search for Form Group containing Servicing Forms
Once you select the option, a dropdown menu of Form Groups will appear. Search for and choose the relevant Form Groups that will contain Servicing Forms.
5. Service Forms based on the Group/s configured
After configuring the Form Groups containing Service Forms, a new section will appear displaying the Form Templates belonging to the configured group/s. Please select one of the forms to proceed.
6. Additional column for Service
When viewing a Service Form, the layout closely resembles that of a Prestart form. However, a new column will be visible, indicating the applicable Services for which each field has been configured to be displayed.
7. Right click a field
To specify the Service for which a field should be visible, simply right-click on one of the fields.
8. Click "Edit Service"
Select Edit Service to continue.
9. Click here to show Services
A pane will appear, displaying a combo box of applicable Services that have been configured in the system.
10. Select applicable Service/s
Choose the applicable Service for which this field should be visible. In this example, we are selecting Service A. Moreover, fields can be configured to appear for multiple Services. If you want the field to appear for both Service A and Service B, you can easily configure this as required. If you want a field to appear across all Service Types, simply leave the field blank.
11. Click "Save"
Once the Services have been selected - then click on the Save button.
12. Click "Create Repair Form"
To see the new Servicing Form in action, navigate to an applicable Service and click on the "Create Repair Form" button.
13. Only fields configured for this service or left blank will be shown.
Once the Service Form has been created, you'll notice that the displayed fields correspond to those configured for this particular service. If any fields have been left blank and not configured against any service, they will also be visible. Any other fields that are not applicable for this service will be hidden.
