This guide will walk you through configuring custom columns for display in the Repairs Report in the KIM system. Enhance your reporting capabilities by tailoring the information you view, ensuring a more personalized and efficient experience.
1. Default layout of Repairs Report
To start, go to the equipment module from the home dashboard, then select the repairs tab. When viewing the Repairs Report - there may be additional information being captured via equipment Repair Custom Fields that may be important to be displayed in this report and also for export purposes. We can now configure the columns displayed in the Repairs Report.
2. Click "Options"
To adjust the column layout - access the customization options.
3. Click "Display"
Navigate to the display settings.
4. New Section
Within the Display Options - you will notice a new Repairs header is available.
5. Select desired fields
When selecting "Custom Columns" - a dropdown of selectable fields will be displayed. This will contain all of the baseline fields from the equipment Repairs, equipment Repair Custom Fields and select baseline Equipment fields like Project, Region, Group and Flag.
6. Example of selected fields
In this example - we have selected a few of the baseline Tool Repair fields alongside with a few fields from the Equipment.
7. Finalise changes
Click on the back arrow in the toolbar to finalise the changes to the Custom Columns.
8. Click "Repairs"
Now lets access the repairs section to view the new column layout.
9. Repairs Report displaying configured columns
You can see that now the layout of the columns differs as the report is now displaying the customised columns previously configured.
