Welcome to the Scheduler Overview guide! This guide will take you through the essential steps for job scheduling using the Kim application. Follow the instructions below to streamline your scheduling process and boost your team's productivity.
1. Click "KIM Scheduler"
To begin, locate the Kim scheduler on the home dashboard.
2. Choose the View
Firstly, you have the ability to view the calendar in your preferred format. Simply click on either day, week, or month.
3. Click Filter
Under the filter icon, you can filter the calendar to display either projects or events.
4. Click Toggle details
Clicking the toggle details icon provides more job information displayed on the calendar.
5. Multiple Schedulers
You can have multiple schedulers if required and customise the interface to your liking. For this current scheduler, we're scheduling employees and equipment to projects or jobs.
6. Employees
The contacts column contains a list of all your employees and allows you to separate the list into different groups if necessary.
7. Plant Assets
Similar to the contacts column, you have the equipment column with a list of all your assets and the ability to separate them into different categories.
8. Crew/Combos
We also have an event column where you can build your own crews or combinations of employees and plant assets.
9. Drag & Drop Functionality
You can effortlessly drag and drop employees, equipment crews onto the calendar, and stretch it over several days if needed. One of its remarkable features is its ability to perform a reverse lookup for each employee or equipment you schedule. For example, if you attempt to schedule Maria Kelly for a job and she's already booked for another job on the same day, a prompt will inform you of her existing commitment and inquire if you'd like to overwrite it. 10. Click "Repeat Options"
You can click on the job itself and select repeat options to have it scheduled repeatedly.
11. Set Repeat Details
Here, you can specify the details of the repetition. You can input how many times it's repeated, set the frequency to every day, week, month, or year, and add a repeat end date.
12. Click the Crew
Let's click on this specific crew.
13. Click "Edit"
Here, you can view all the details of this specific crew. Click on the edit icon to make changes.
14. Make Adjustments
You can make adjustments such as adding or removing employees, adding or removing equipment and child equipment, and including multiple tasks such as job completion forms.
15. Change Colour
You can also utilize our color feature to change the colors of any crews, employees, and equipment.
16. Click "Confirm Current Events"
Once you're satisfied with your roster, click on the three dots and select "Confirm All Events." The jobs will then be sent to your employees via SMS text, email, or through the app.
