In this guide, we'll take you through the process within the Mobile app's Equipment module to successfully finish a pre-start checklist.
1. Select Equipment
Select the Equipment Module from your home screen
2. Select Equipment
Select equipment
3. Select your Equipment
Select the equipment you want to complete the prestart on. For this example we are using Excavator E X C 0 1
4. Select Prestart Checklist
Select 'daily checklist to begin your prestart
5. Select the plus to add the current hours
Select the plus icon next to add in the current hours, this can be configured to kilometers as well
6. Enter in hours and click save
Enter in the current hours and select save to save the hours to the equipment
7. Select start to begin
Once the hours have been submitted click start to begin
8. Select 'Pass' or 'Fail' against each item
Select Pass or fail against each item. pass meaning there are no defects and fail meaning there is an issue present
9. Fail Selected
When a fail is selected you will be prompted to provide more information through a sub fault form
10. Previous Fault
Here you can see previous faults which have been logged against this item. To view more information, simply click on it
11. To return press the back arrow
Once you have reviewed the previous fault you can return to the sub fault section by clicking the back arrow
12. Click "Add New" to add a new sub fault
To submit a new sub fault click the add new button
13. Select the + icon next to the subfault to add a subfault
Select the plus icon next to subfault to add in the specific subfault type
14. Select the subfault types
Here you can select the type of subfault
15. Click the + icon next to Notes to add to the notes to the fault
Click the plus icon next to notes to add additional notes to the fault
16. Select the tick icon to save
One you have completed the notes select the tick icon in the top left corner to save
17. Click the + icon to add a photo
You can also add a photo to the fault by clicking on the plus icon next to Add Photo
18. Select the photo method
This can be done through range of options such as taking a photo, scan a document, attaching a photo or a attach document. In this case we will be taking a photo
19. Once you have taken your photo select OK
Once you have taken the photo select OK to save the photo to the fault
20. Select the tick icon to save the fault
Select the tick icon to complete the report on the fault
21. Select the back arrow
Select the back arrow to return to the checklist to continue filling it out
22. Select the back arrow again
Select the back arrow again to return to the checklist
23. Continue to complete the checklist
Continue to complete the checklist as 'pass' and 'fail'
24. Sign the checklist by add your signature
To complete the prestart you will need to add your signature select the signature and sign using your device
25. Complete you signature and save by selecting the tick
Complete your signature and select the tick icon to save
26. Select Submit
Select Submit to submit your prestart
27. Here you can see the number of faults identified
Here you can see the number of faults that were identified in the prestart. By selecting it you can see the details of the fault.
28. Details of fault
Here you can see all the details of the fault, including the sub fault category
29. Select back 3 times
By selecting back 3 times you will return to the asset overview screen
30. Select prestarts to view all prestarts
On this view you can select prestarts and see all the prestarts that have been completed
31. Select your prestart
To download a prestart select the prestart you wish to download
32. Select the cloud button to download

33. Select the back arrow 3 times
Lastly to view all the faults and services against the asset select the back arrow 3 times to return to the asset overview screen
34. Select Maintenance
To see all the services and faults against the asset select the maintenance tab
35. Here you can see the fault
Here you can see the faults that need to be carried out. If you select it you can see more information reported about the fault
36. Service information
You can also see all the service information against the asset, including those outstanding
